World number two Aryna Sabalenka defeated world number six Jessica Pegula 7-5, 7-5 in US Open 2024 women's singles final to win her third Grand Slam title. Sabalenka became the first woman since Angelique Kerber in 2016 to win both hard-court Grand Slams in a year. She received a prize money of $3,600,000 (more than ₹30 crore) for her victory.
