The Ministry of Corporate Affairs' Serious Fraud Investigation Office (SFIO) has initiated an investigation into IndusInd Bank over accounting lapses in its derivatives portfolio. The cumulative impact of the lapses is seen at around ₹2,000 crore. Earlier this year, CEO Sumant Kathpalia and deputy CEO Arun Khurana exited the bank over the accounting discrepancies.
