Africa Centres for Disease Control and Prevention (Africa CDC) thanked India for supplying emergency medical supplies amid the current outbreak of Ebola virus in the continent. "We look forward to further helping, in whatever manner we can," MEA had said while supplying the aid. The help was handed over by the Indian High Commissioner in Uganda to the CDC office.
