Union Minister Pralhad Joshi on Sunday took additional charge of the Education Ministry, saying, "This is a new subject for me. I am reviewing all the details here and the decisions that need to be taken." He replaced Dharmendra Pradhan following protests over the NEET-UG 2026 paper leak. Notably, Joshi is the fourth Education Minister since 2014.
