Fire extinguishers used to contain the fire which killed 10 newborn babies at a hospital in UP's Jhansi had expired two years ago, Republic reported. An eyewitness also claimed that the extinguishers didn't work, due to which the fire couldn't be controlled. Authorities claimed the extinguishers were refilled in June and were used by the ward boy during the incident.
