India is estimated to spend more than $5 billion on AI by 2027, according to a report by Intel-IDC. In 2023, AI spending in India stood at $1.7 billion. The majority of India's AI spending last year was directed towards AI infrastructure provisioning ($209.4 million). This includes spending on hardware such as servers and software components like frameworks.
