Meta used 'village' approach to manage employees who were all 'builders': Report

Mark Zuckerberg's Project OT saw Meta implement a brand-new organisational structure in which at least 11 departments implemented the "village" management approach, Reuters reported. The plan envisioned "small tech pods" of 2-3 engineers and a designer, all equipped with AI, turning pod members into "builders". Pods would report to a high-level unit head, who'd decide staff ratings and promotions.
