Maharashtra Congress President Nana Patole has written to state Governor CP Radhakrishnan and objected to the potential reappointment of Rashmi Shukla as Maharashtra DGP. The ECI had transferred Shukla ahead of Assembly polls in the state. "Any potential move to reinstate Shukla would amount to direct violation of ECI's constitutional authority," Patole said.
