Case filed against Mamata over alleged Calcutta HC order violation

Kolkata Police has filed a suo motu case against TMC leader Mamata Banerjee over alleged violation of a Calcutta High Court order regarding the celebration of Trinamool Chhatra Parishad's foundation day on Friday. The court had directed one flank to be kept open while permitting the event. Police said it wasn't kept open, and HC-specified time limit was also exceeded.
