Rudi Garcia has stepped down as Belgium head coach after their FIFA World Cup 2026 campaign ended with a 1-2 quarter-final defeat to Spain. The 62-year-old guided Belgium to a 4-1 round-of-16 win over co-host USA. Garcia leaves after 18 months in charge, having replaced Domenico Tedesco.
