90-year-old 'mis-sold' 99-year insurance with ₹2-lakh premium/year by Canara HSBC

Professional trader Saketh R said his wife's grandfather, Vaidyanathan Iyer, was 'mis-sold' a life insurance by Canara HSBC Life Insurance after its branch manager misused his trust. The policy is due to mature after 99 years, in 2124, with ₹2-lakh annual premium, of which Iyer had already paid ₹4 lakh. Saketh said it was done "only to meet sales targets".
