French President Emmanuel Macron has criticised US President Donald Trump for mocking him over an old video showing French First Lady Brigitte Macron purportedly hitting his face. This is "neither elegant nor up to standard", said Macron. During his early morning speech, Trump said Macron's "wife treats him extremely badly", adding, "[He's] still recovering from the right to the jaw."
