The Sainik Kalyan Board handed over a cheque of ₹1.5 crore to the father of Flight Lieutenant Shubham Kumar, who lost his life in IAF AN-32 jet crash in Assam this month. Earlier, a ₹21 lakh aid by Bihar government was given to Shubham's wife Shreya Rai. His father had said he wasn't aware that Shubham and Shreya got married.
