Anthropic has appointed Indian-origin physician-scientist Vas Narasimhan to its Board of Directors. Narasimhan is the CEO of Novartis, an "innovative medicines company" and "shares Anthropic's conviction that healthcare and life sciences are among the areas where AI has the greatest potential", the AI company said. "Vas brings more than two decades of experience in medicine," Anthropic added.
