Subhash Chandra's plan to repay just ₹6.5 crore to settle ₹22,000-crore debt halted by NCLT

In a major setback, NCLT has put Zee Founder Subhash Chandra's ₹6.5-crore repayment plan to settle ₹22,000-crore debt on hold. A five-member bench of the tribunal will now re-examine the plan, saying the earlier three-member bench failed to reach a clear majority. NCLT also barred Chandra from directly or indirectly transferring or selling his properties while his matter is heard.
