Google has introduced a new feature in its Wallet app in India that lets users to store Aadhaar-based digital IDs on their phones. Developed in partnership with UIDAI, it aims to simplify identity and age verification without needing physical cards. Using “verifiable credential” model, it enables users to share only specific details required while avoiding exposure of full personal information.
