The Department of Justice has defended Donald Trump's decision to ban media outlets, saying the President can control journalists' access to areas like Oval Office. "Access to the White House is a privilege — not a right," DoJ said in a court filing. It also claimed news outlets didn't meet "minimum requirements of professionalism" as they relied on "sources".
