SoftBank on Monday overtook Toyota to become Japan's most valuable firm, amid its growing investments into AI. Toyota has been the biggest company by market capitalisation in Japan for over 20 years. SoftBank shares are up by nearly 73% this year as the firm's market capitalisation reached around 47.2 ​trillion yen ($296 billion) on Monday.
