Former England footballer Andros Townsend run over by pitch roller in Thailand

Former England footballer Andros Townsend escaped serious injury after being struck and run over by a motorised pitch roller while warming up for his team PT Prachuap during a Thai League 1 match. The roller travelled up his legs nearly to his waist before stopping. Townsend resumed warming up and later came on as late substitute in Prachuap’s 3-0 win.
