Uttar Pradesh Deputy CM Keshav Maurya said even if BJP fails to form the government in Kerala, "it will be our best performance so far" in the Assembly elections. He added that BJP and NDA will "definitely form governments" in West Bengal, Assam, Tamil Nadu and Puducherry. Over 800 candidates were in the fray for 140 Assembly seats in Kerala.
