Union Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw unveiled a set of advertisements prohibited from being displayed on stations. Erotic content and advertisements of private insurance companies offering policies against railway accidents are prohibited. Display of advertisements of alcoholic drinks, tobacco and smoking is also prohibited at stations. In case of violations, corrective action will be taken.
