2 workers die after getting trapped while cleaning manhole in Pune

Two workers died after getting trapped inside a drainage chamber while cleaning a manhole in Pune late on Wednesday night. Fire brigade personnel carried out a rescue operation and managed to pull both workers out of the chamber and rushed them to a hospital, however, doctors declared them dead. A similar incident reportedly occurred in the area last year.
