India sends 20,000 vaccine doses to Maldives amid measles outbreak

The Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) said India sent a consignment of 20,000 doses of measles vaccines and three tonnes of medical supplies to Maldives. MEA Spokesperson Randhir Jaiswal said the supplies include medicines, syringes and diagnostic kits to help the island nation combat rising measles cases. MEA added that Maldives holds a special place in India's 'Neighbourhood First' policy.
