Indian Cyber Crime Coordination Centre (I4C) issued an advisory for a new cybercrime trend called 'Boss Scam'. The hackers' modus operandi involves contacting top officials by impersonating regulators and delivering malicious archives via email or text. Once compromised, the criminals then use the executive's device to defraud them. I4C warned against installing such files from unknown sources.
