Two godmen booked for cheating woman of ₹69.30 lakh

Mumbai's Chembur police booked Rajshekhar Shastri and Guruji Adityanath for allegedly duping a 60-year-old woman of ₹69.30 lakh. They promised to cure her sister's cancer through pujas at Kamakhya and Kashi Vishwanath temples. The accused collected money in instalments between June 2025 and 2026. A case was filed under Maharashtra's Black Magic Act.
