The BJP has won the Delhi MCD mayoral elections with its candidate Pravesh Wahi becoming the Mayor after securing 156 votes out of 165. Monika Pant was elected the Deputy Mayor. The results were announced after the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) opted not to contest, and Congress managed to win only nine votes. Wahi has been a three-time councillor.
