The 2017 Unnao rape survivor has approached CBI seeking an FIR against the then-investigating officer (IO) for colluding with rape convict and former BJP MLA Kuldeep Singh Sengar. The survivor alleged that the IO conducted the probe in such a way that Sengar and other accused may get the benefits of "deliberate lapses" and "secure a favourable outcome".
