Indian firms grant AI more autonomy, but ROI proof lags: Report

28% of Indian business leaders say generative AI completes tasks end-to-end without human approval, above the global average of 19%, as per an Avanade report. Yet 75% say AI hasn't justified investment, and 74% haven't formally calculated AI ROI. India led surveyed markets in operational efficiency gains, at 44%.
