The Calcutta High Court dismissed TMC's plea against ECI's decision to exclude state government employees from being assigned as counting supervisors for the West Bengal elections. "It's the prerogative of...ECI to appoint...counting supervisor...either from state...or central government," HC said. It added that TMC can file petitions later if central government employees favour BJP candidates.
