Rohit Sharma has become the first Indian captain to smash a fifty in a T20 World Cup knockout match. The 37-year-old scored 57(39) against England in T20 World Cup 2024 semi-final in Guyana. The previous highest score by an Indian captain in a T20 World Cup knockout match was 36(18) by MS Dhoni in 2007 T20 World Cup.
