NVIDIA CEO Jensen Huang, during its GTC 2026 event in California's San Jose, said, "We're going to build data centres in space." He highlighted the Vera Rubin Space Module, stating that it is designed for orbital data centres, geospatial intelligence, and autonomous space operations. "In space there is...no convection...only radiation...need to figure out how to cool these systems," he added.
