Suryakumar breaks Kohli's record, hits most runs in T20I series as India captain
India T20I captain Suryakumar Yadav broke Virat Kohli's record for scoring most runs in a T20I series as India captain. Suryakumar hit 242 runs in the India-New Zealand five-match T20I series, while Kohli had scored 231 runs in five T20Is against England in 2021. Notably, Suryakumar was named Player of the Series in the India-New Zealand series.
