At least 16 people have died and six others are injured after a massive explosion took place at a firecracker factory in Tamil Nadu's Virudhunagar on Sunday, ANI reported, citing the fire and rescue department. Visuals of the blast showing a plume of smoke rising into the sky and officials trying to douse the blaze have surfaced online.
