The Gujarat High Court on Thursday dismissed a plea seeking the disclosure of an alleged archaeological survey conducted beneath the Somnath Temple by the ASI. The court said that the plea was based on unverified claims sourced from social media and newspaper reports. The court also imposed a cost of ₹2 lakh on the petitioner.
