A US civil rights group, the NAACP, sued Elon Musk's xAI and its subsidiary, alleging they illegally operate 27 gas turbines at its data centre in Mississippi. These companies are following a pattern of asking communities to bear toxic brunt of innovation, an official said. The group previously threatened to sue xAI over air pollution from its supercomputer facility.
