Karnataka Home Minister G Parameshwara hinted at his aspirations for CM post. "Political promotion should happen in 26 (2026)...It's left to...high command," he said. When asked whether he is optimistic about it, he added, "I too have ambition like everyone else." During speculations about leadership change in November he said that he is also in race to be CM.
