Coal mine blast in Pak's Balochistan kills 32 miners, traps 10 others

An explosion at a coal mine on the outskirts of Quetta, capital of Pakistan's Balochistan province, has reportedly killed at least 32 miners and trapped 10 others underground. The blast was apparently triggered by a buildup of methane gas. "The chances of finding anyone alive diminish after methane gas explosions because oxygen levels drop to zero," a mine inspector said.
