TMC MP Abhishek Banerjee said the people's verdict will be accepted by everyone but added the vote counting process was "unusually slow". "In 2021, nearly 90% of counting was completed within eight and a half hours; now, only 6–8 rounds...completed in same time frame," he added. Banerjee alleged that eight EVMs' data did not match the number of registered voters.
