BJP slammed Congress and Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) for their muted response to protests being held in Jharkhand over allegations of paper leaks and compared it with their strong mobilisation during the NEET controversy. The BJP also called the protesters in Jharkhand "genuine". Notably, several opposition leaders had gone to meet NEET paper-leak protesters at Jantar Mantar in Delhi.
