TN forms 4-member all-woman SIT to probe POCSO case against Veeramani

The Tamil Nadu government has formed a Special Investigation Team (SIT), comprising four women police officers, to probe the POCSO case against businessman Veeramani. The Chennai POCSO Special Court on Friday extended the judicial custody of Veeramani till October 9. He is accused of sexual abuse of minor girls and was arrested along with three others.
