IIT Madras opens ₹3.30 cr robotics lab with Bechtel support

IIT Madras inaugurated a new robotics lab worth ₹3.30 crore, backed by CSR funding from Bechtel India. The lab focuses on robotics and automation research for construction and infrastructure. Bechtel will also help shape curriculum, offer mentorship, and provide internship opportunities to bridge classroom learning with real-world industry needs.
