Three Kuki-Zo church leaders and a driver were ambushed and shot dead in Manipur's Kangpokpi district by suspected armed militants from Zeliangrong United Front (ZUF). Both Kuki-Zo and Naga communities have reportedly taken each other's members hostage after the attack. "Such barbaric violence against innocent lives is unacceptable and has no place in any civilised society," Nagaland CM Neiphiu Rio said.
