Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman criticised Tamil Nadu CM MK Stalin, calling his claim that Centre stopped paddy incentives "factually baseless". She said the Centre only suggested aligning state bonus policies with national priorities like crop diversification and self-sufficiency in pulses and oilseeds. She added that bonuses over MSP remain entirely the responsibility of state governments.
