UPSC aspirant arrested for fake bomb threat in Delhi, says 'Wanted to prank ex-roommate'

A 23-year-old UPSC aspirant has been arrested in Kanpur after he allegedly made a hoax bomb threat to his ex-roommate in Delhi. The accused claimed he intended the call as a prank. The caller allegedly told his ex-roommate and his friend that they had been selected to carry out bomb blasts in Delhi, following which the duo informed the police.
