A Canadian court on Tuesday dismissed an appeal by Ghana midfielder Thomas Partey after he was denied entry into the country for Ghana's FIFA World Cup 2026 match against Panama. The Canadian government had refused him a visa, prompting a last-minute legal challenge in Ottawa. Partey, who is awaiting trial on multiple rape charges, has pleaded not guilty.
