India to add 2-2.5 lakh festive jobs in 2026: Report

India is set to create 2–2.5 lakh seasonal and gig jobs during the July–December 2026 festive season, as per NLB Services. Hiring is expected to grow 15–20% across e-commerce, retail, and logistics. Tier II and III cities will contribute ~45% of demand, with hiring there growing 25–30%.
