PM Narendra Modi, addressing the nation through 135th episode of 'Mann Ki Baat', said people requested him to discuss "Ganesh Utsav". "The making of Lord Ganesha idols begins well in advance. I appeal to everyone to ensure that Ganpati idols installed at homes and in societies are made from local soil and crafted by Indian potters and artisans," he stated.
