Argentine football legend Lionel Messi has bought Spanish fifth-division team Cornellà. The Catalonia-based club has produced prominent footballers such as Jordi Alba, Gerard Martín and David Raya. Earlier this year, Cristiano Ronaldo had become co-owner of Spanish football club Almeria.
