A 27-year-old software engineer, Yuvraj Mehta, died after his car plunged into a water-filled drain in Noida's Sector 150. A delivery agent who volunteered to enter the 70-foot-deep water-filled ditch said Mehta was screaming for help from inside the car, alleging officials "lacked the willpower" to enter the drain. He tied rope and jumped in, but Mehta had already died.
