Illegal stone quarry busted in Maharashtra; ₹90.89 lakh seized

Revenue Department officials raided an illegal stone quarry in Khardi in Maharashtra seizing machinery and minerals worth ₹90.89 lakh. The operation, led by Vasai Tehsildar Deepak Gaikwad, found rock excavation without legal permission. Three persons, the landowner Ramchandra Patil and two others were booked under BNS and Maharashtra Land Revenue Code.
